Etiquette of reading and dealing with the Noble Qur’an
- Ablution is necessary when touching or reading the Qur’an. It is not required to read from memorization, but
it is desirable to be in the state of ablution. - Listen attentively specially When someone recites, pay attention. It is not enough to be calm. You should listen to it or leave the room so as not to disturb the reader.
- Wear appropriate clothing while reading. Boys wear a hat and girls wear a veil.
- Don’t talk when reading the Qur’an. It is God’s word.
